The CMI hosts a full calendar of events. Delivered both virtually and in-person, our events bring together thought leaders, investors, regulators, policy makers and sustainability professionals.

Our flagship event, now in its 8th year, is the annual Australasian Emissions Reduction Summit. The Summit attracts over 700 delegates, leading domestic and international speakers and significant media coverage. The event includes a world-class program with high level plenary sessions, workshops, technical masterclasses as well as the following side events: the Great Debate, Women in Climate Breakfast and Gala Dinner.

Now in its fifth year, CMI’s national Carbon Farming Forum convenes a unique mix of major stakeholders from across the land-sector including key agriculture sector participants, land holders, Traditional Owners, carbon project developers, financiers and domestic high emitters. The Forum provides a platform for key stakeholders to gather and progress key actions in the Carbon Farming Roadmap.

We also have our hugely popular issues-driven CMI Carbon Conversations webinar series, held regularly on Fridays at 12pm via ZOOM. These Conversations provide a way to connect, communicate and collaborate on key industry, policy, regulatory and community issues. Occasionally these events are free, but in most cases, Carbon Conversations are exclusively available to CMI Corporate and Associate Members.

CMI Summit postponed

Due to the escalating COVID situation, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the 8th Australasian Emissions Reduction Summit again.

New dates for the CMI Summit (in-person/virtual) are Thursday 9th & Friday 10th December, 2021.
