In 2022, Greening Australia and its environmental credits business Canopy partnered with the landholders to plant 25,000 native trees and shrubs across 65 hectares of the property as an environmental planting carbon project.

April Salumei Rainforest Community Conservation Project

The April Salumei Rainforest Community Conservation Project protects and sustainably manages over 600,000 hectares of globally significant virgin rainforest in the East Sepik Province of Papua New Guinea. The project area has previously been recognised as an exceptional biodiversity hotspot by the Climate Community and Biodiversity Standard (SCS, 2011). Before becoming a carbon project, the area was planned to be cleared for logging.
Yimba Biodiversity Project

The Yimba Biodiversity Project stands as a recent addition to Carbon Neutral Pty Ltd's portfolio within the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor. Once teeming with expansive York and Salmon gum woodlands, this corridor in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia has seen over 90% of its vegetation cleared since the early 1900s for agricultural purposes.
