The Aboriginal Carbon Foundation (AbCF) is proud to collaborate with the Balanggarra Traditional Owners and the Wanjina-Wunggurr Traditional Owners, continuing cultural practice by savanna burning in their traditional Country in the Kimberley region.
Supporting the right way to burn Country is an ideal way to invest in the Traditional Owners to look after the beautiful Kimberley, prosper cultural practice, protect amazing rock art and increase local biodiversity through the savanna burning carbon farming method.
Savanna Burning Project Areas include the savanna burning projects operate across Balanggarra country and Wanjina- Wunggurr country in the North-West Kimberley.

Traditional Owners travel to sacred sites as part of the burning operations, ensuring cultural connection and land stewardship. The Kimberley region has very remote rock art sites that require protection.
