Katherine Lake

I have extensive legal and public policy experience in renewable energy and climate change working as a senior commercial lawyer and advisor, in Australia and the UK, for international law firms, major energy companies and the Australian and Victorian governments. My expertise covers energy projects, emission reduction frameworks, carbon market and land-based carbon reduction projects and international climate law. I have recently worked on innovative clean energy and distributed energy projects, including virtual power plants, demand response and electric vehicle programs with AGL Energy. My professional experience builds on Science (Environmental) and Law (Hons) degrees and a LL.M, University College London (International Energy, Finance and Environmental Law). I serve on the boards and advisory panels of clean energy organisations and investment funds advising on sustainability, climate change and ESG matters.
