11 carbon service providers signed up to the Code when it first launched on 1 July 2018. These Foundation Signatories have been, and continue to be key supporters of the Code, and enhanced market integrity, transparency and accountability for Australia’s carbon industry.
General Signatories to the Code demonstrate to the industry that they are committed to developing and operating in an industry that is built on community trust, transparency, accountability, social and environmental integrity, and is in compliance with the law.
Code Signatories enjoy a range of market-facing benefits, including enhanced reputation, visibility, and eligibility to access funding through various state government funding schemes and competitive tender processes.
The Administrator monitors and reviews compliance under the Code to ensure that Signatories continue to operate professionally and comply with Code obligations.
As a Signatory, if you suspect that you, or another Signatory, may have breached the Code, make sure you notify the Administrator and follow the breach reporting process.
