CMI Board and staff are deeply saddened by the passing of Chloe Munro AO who provided outstanding leadership through the tumult of Australian carbon politics with grace, humour and foresight.
Chloe helped establish world class markets for the deployment of renewable energy, carbon farming and other carbon reduction crediting.
At the Clean Energy Regulator, Chloe worked closely with CMI, supporting precursors to our annual Australasian Emission Reduction Summit and regular processes of engagement between the regulator and industry in the development of Australia’s carbon market.
Chloe was always available to regularly meet and get feedback from the market, and valued that advice as appropriate.
