With more than 20 years of local and international business experience, I have turned my attention to public service and representing the people of Fairfax on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland.

I am committed to building a better civil society and how individuals can make a difference. I believe we all have a role to play to restore and rebuild our social infrastructure, and reduce our reliance on big business and government.

I believe that for communities and individuals to realise their potential, they need to take control of their own future. Never has this been more important than with today’s youth. That’s why I founded Generation Innovation (GI), which helps young people start their own business. GI is a not-for-profit organisation which connects young entrepreneurs with business, marketing and investment professionals.

Check out my TedX speech (link below) on my thoughts on how to rebuild civil society, why I formed GI, and the principles which underpin the organisation.

I entered politics to make a real difference in the community I love. I am passionate about the Sunshine Coast community and building a future for our local businesses, with real job creation and sensible economic growth that protects and leverages the region’s strengths. I represent the people of Fairfax by being their voice in Canberra.
