LGI designs, supplies, installs, operates and maintains landfill gas extraction and combustion systems, which are fully compliant as carbon abatement projects under the Emissions Reduction Fund. We currently operate numerous carbon abatement projects around Australia, both as the project participant and on behalf of landfill owners.

Yimba Biodiversity Project

The Yimba Biodiversity Project stands as a recent addition to Carbon Neutral Pty Ltd's portfolio within the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor. Once teeming with expansive York and Salmon gum woodlands, this corridor in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia has seen over 90% of its vegetation cleared since the early 1900s for agricultural purposes.

The AWC conducts burning early in the dry season to reduce the risk of late season wildfires which can burn out of control and destroy large areas of cover for small mammals.
