The Administrator monitors and reviews compliance under the Code to ensure that Signatories continue to operate professionally and comply with Code obligations.
The Australian Carbon Industry Code of Conduct (ACI Code) Administrator protects the integrity of the market and consumers through three actions:
- Conducting and reviewing compliance self-audits of Code Signatories to assess compliance with Code standards.
- monitoring
- Investigating complaints and alleged breaches against Signatories and sanctioning those found in breach.
- Working with the Independent Code Review Panel to investigate complaints and alleged breaches.
The Administrator of the ACI Code will add information to this page over time, in accordance with the Code’s requirement for the Administrator to publish information on certain compliance activities.
All Signatories have committed to complying with the Code of Conduct. All potential breaches of the Code are investigated, and action may be taken if a Signatory fails to meet their obligations.
Further information about the complaints procedure can be found in the Code Administrator’s complaints handling and breaches procedure here.
The following information is a summary of known breaches of the Code, actions that have been taken, and sanctions that have been enforced. Data that is more detailed can be found in the Annual Compliance reports.
