Amanda Hansson

Amanda has a broad background in geology, climatology and environmental management. Amanda currently works at Accounting for Nature, a voluntary environmental certification standard, providing scientific methods to measure and monitor environmental condition. Originally from Sweden with an undergraduate degree in Science (majoring in earth science), she later moved to northern Norway to work in iron ore mining. Her postgraduate studies were completed at UQ in Environmental Management, while her PhD strongly focused on alpine forest ecology and climate change.
