Vicky has more than 35 years experience in the global resources and financial services markets, with over 20 years in leadership positions. She is a Non Executive Director for ASX listed companies Evolution Mining and Cooper Energy, and is a member of various Audit, Risk & Sustainability, and People & Remuneration Committees. Vicky is a Non Executive Director of The Carbon Market Institute, the peak independent industry body in Australia at the centre of business and climate action, with a 2050 mission for a prosperous, climate resilient, net-zero emissions world. Vicky is also a Member of the Advisory Council for JP Morgan in Australia.

Prior to her non-executive career, Vicky spent more than 10 years working with BHP in Singapore in various leadership roles including Vice President Marketing Minerals, where she led a high performing, diverse team of Engineering and Marketing professionals. Vicky was responsible for sales, marketing, logistics, risk, pricing and customer activities for iron ore, metallurgical coal, energy coal, copper, nickel, zinc, molybdenum and uranium across a global portfolio with annual revenue $40bn (>85% FY19 EBITDA). Vicky was a member of the Executive Leadership Teams for BHP for Marketing & Supply, Minerals Americas, and Minerals Australia. She also sat on the BHP global Inclusion and Diversity Council.

Before joining BHP in early 2009, Vicky was Australian Head of Research and Global Head of Mining, Metals & Steel Research for Merrill Lynch, where the team was consistently rated Top Three globally over 10 years. Vicky was a mining and commodities analyst in the financial markets for 15 years. She has covered companies with diverse assets, including copper and other base metals, precious and platinum group metals, alumina, coal, iron ore, industrial minerals, oil and gas, and uranium.

Prior to working in the financial services sector, Vicky worked with Exxon as a Petroleum Engineer and oil trader.

Vicky is co-founder and ex-President of Women in Mining and Resources Singapore (WIMAR SG), an organisation with more than 700 members from 20 global mining, freight, trading and industry houses.

In 2014, Vicky was nominated one of the 100 most influential women in the global mining industry by WIM UK. Born and educated in NSW, Vicky attended the University of New South Wales from 1982-1985, securing a First Class Honours Degree in Mining Engineering. She also completed the Securities Institute of Australia Diploma course in 1989. In 2015, Vicky was awarded the Judy Raper prize for outstanding leadership for Women in Engineering from the University of NSW.
