Managing Partner, Climate Change & Sustainability Services Asia Pacific, EY
Matthew is the Managing Partner of EY’s Climate Change and Sustainability practice across Oceania (Australia, New Zealand, PNG and Fiji). The practice comprises over 100 dedicated specialists with multidisciplinary backgrounds.
He leads teams who support EY’s clients with a range of professional services on Climate Change and Energy; Sustainability Advice and Assurance; Impact Investment and Outcomes Measurement; and Health, Safety, and Environment.
Matthew is a registered greenhouse auditor, a published doctoral-level scientist, and has previously managed some of the UK Government’s major research programmes, including on Climate Change.
Matthew is a committee member for the ACCA’s Global Sustainability Forum; the sustainability committee for the Asia Pacific Real Estate Association (APREA); sits on the Sustainability Accounting Standards board’s infrastructure working group; has previously headed the working groups for the IIRC on ‘value’; is a member of a number of IETA working groups; and is a judge for the NSW Green Globes Awards.
Matthew is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Sydney Master’s and MBA programs.
