NRM Regions Australia is the collective group representing Australia’s 56 regional natural resource management bodies. Regional NRMs are statutory agencies or NGOs recognised by the Federal Government as part of the Natural Heritage Trust and its successor programs (including the National Landcare Program) which are charged with natural resource management outcomes delivered on the ground. They work and partner with a remarkable range of farmers, communities, Indigenous groups, land managers, industries and NGOs at local, state and national levels. They develop collaborative land management programs aimed at climate resilience, reduced GhG emissions and other co-benefits such as regional job growth and natural asset protection.
