Greenfleet is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to connecting people with real climate action by providing responsible carbon offsets, recognised under the Carbon Farming Initiative. As a registered charity, for the past twenty years Greenfleet has been providing biodiverse carbon offsets to fund tree planting and forest restoration projects in Australia and New Zealand. Along with businesses and large corporations, Greenfleet works with individuals, schools, councils and NGOs. Originally launched as a project offering Australian motorists a tree-planting program to ‘re-capture’ their CO2 emissions, it has resulted in over 8.7 million native tree plantings and 2.7 million tonnes of carbon offsets committed. Greenfleet enables landowners to use carbon offset funding to establish biodiverse native forests on their land via carbon farming projects, improving the environmental value of the land and its productivity by replanting indigenous, multi-species forests.
