Carbon Farmers of Australia (CFA) has been helping farmers and others gain access to carbon markets since 2006, and are now expanding to cover industrial and commercial operations. The Company has been recognised as a leader in representing farmers’ interests in and educating farmers about carbon farming issues. Direct services related to carbon farming methods and aggregation, with expertise in soil carbon and soil carbon trading. CFA conducts workshops to prepare landholders for trade, including training in how to implement methods in a project and aggregation for groups. It published the first Carbon Farming Handbook in 2008 and held 8 Carbon Farming Conferences and expos from 2007. They have over 200 000 ha under ERF Government contracts in partnerships with landholders.
