Director, Climate Change
Gloria brings over 10 years of diverse experience in consulting, technical and operational roles and has worked with some of Australia’s largest organisations focusing on business improvements in carbon, energy and sustainability practices. Most recently a Director at Deloitte, she was known for supporting clients manage risks associated with greenhouse gas emissions, as well as navigate the complexities of Australia’s current climate policy.
Gloria has extensive knowledge of emissions quantification methodologies and reporting standards adopted globally. She understands the challenges faced by industry in emissions MRV (Measurement, Reporting and Verification) having undertaken numerous regulatory compliance projects and technical feasibility assessments for large and complex industrial sectors. Prior to Deloitte she was a consultant with Perenia Carbon where she worked more broadly with organisations seeking to optimise energy efficiency practices and minimise carbon risk. Gloria started her career as a process engineer in the mining industry with Rio Tinto working across various business units with experience in both advisory and technical roles throughout Australia. Gloria holds a Bachelor of Engineering from The University of Melbourne.
