CMI is heading to Singapore in 2023.

As the Australian carbon marketplace matures, it is time to build an international network of climate leaders. International linkages are evolving at a pace that is only accelerating as the Australian Government has now lodged an updated NDC with the UNFCCC, and voluntary climate action ramps up.

There are lessons to be learnt, and shared, in convening professionals from across the APAC region. The Carbon Market & Investor Forum will facilitate new discussions, and build relationships with professionals, investors and policy-makers from across the region.

The Singapore Carbon Market & Investor Forum will be held as a one and a half day event on July 19 & 20, 2023. The three general themes have been selected to provide a framework for the program, which will feature plenaries, workshops and networking events, including a Forum dinner, networking breakfast, and investor forum luncheon.

  • Join us in person in Singapore for the full 1.5 day program, including plenaries, workshops and networking opportunities.

Program Themes

1. Nature-Based Solutions

From urban Singapore to rural Australia, nature-based solutions hold opportunities to boost climate resilience. As carbon markets evolve, so too does our capacity for holistic climate repair as we consider carbon as part of a picture, including biodiversity and other ecosystem services.

2. International Linkages

With the Article 6 Rulebook development well underway, growing numbers of countries are signing international carbon trading agreements. Now is the time for seizing new investment opportunities that will achieve emissions reduction and associated co-benefits on a global scale.

3. Unlocking Investment & Finance

Finance and investment is key to the international low-carbon transition. Increased demand for carbon abatement from both compliance and voluntary markets generates opportunities to build relationships across the finance and investor community in the APAC region.

We are seeking partners for the Carbon Market & Investor Forum.
