The Clean Energy Regulator has published its second set of discussion papers to inform the development of guidance materials for the Safeguard Mechanism which will commence 1 July 2016. Having previously focused on determining baseline emissions and inherent emissions variability criteria, the two newest papers are intended to prompt feedback on Production variables and Forecasting emissions data.

The guidance consultation period for papers 3 & 4 will close at 5pm (AEST) on Monday, 6 June 2016. All comments may be submitted to the Clean Energy Regulator at email@example.com.
